Well its been a while sense I have posted so here i go.

We had a crazy weekend but a fabulous weekend at that. Adams cousin Todd came into town on Friday morning and then it was non-stop from there. Friday night the family had an engagement party for Trisha. We would love to tell her congrats! Then of course we are all together and Rob came up with a brilliant plan to have a guitar hero all night party. This is how that went, no one wanted to play against me because i got my first 100% on a song. Megan forgot to strum while playing. Adam did well, and Rob did better than expected. Todd got better as the night went on. I saved the best for last Angle played and really enjoyed it. Adam and I didn't leave until about 2:00-2:30. So not quite all night but close enough for us.

Saturday we got up and went to Jo house to set up for the next party, which was for Todd's mom Marlee. Then it was off to Cherry hill for Tyler's b-day party. OK i have never been there before because I always thought it looked lame. I WAS WRONG. I had so much fun. I am ready to go again. After a few bumps and bruises I was not prepared for what came next. THE HUMAN RUBBER BAND. That's right a human rubber band. Its this massive amounts Lycra. Very very stretchy which means very very fun. You put 4 people in the rubber band and stretch it out as far as you can. then two people run toward the other side which throws the other two people across. Then its back and forth trying to stretch it out as much as possible. Well doing it with the girls was not bad fun in fact but once I was in there with the the guys my life flashed before my eyes. On my second trip across I went flying needless to say this is what happened. I broke my toe.

Sorry i know my feet are not cute but i had to show them.

The weekend doesn't stop there we get up on Sunday and have brunch at Rob and Angle's home. With a few of the cousins. It was a blast. We also learned about nascar. I am pretty sure Adam and I will be watching a few more race's for fun it. I really want to thank Rob and Angle for allowing us in to their home to play and hang out. I am so grateful to have gotten to know Charlie even a little better over the fabulous weekend. We need to all hang out more often. I will post more pic when I get them. (If any one has pics from the weekend could you email them to me thank you!!!)

Monday Night Inferno!!!!

Thanks to my friend Chris, the wife and I got to enjoy the Utah Blaze up close and personal. He was gracious enough to give us the lower bowl seats he could not use. We had a blast!!! I can't go back to the free seats ever again. Here is a video of some of the intro taken with my cell phone so you can get an idea of how close we were. Be ready to adjust the volume on your speakers....its really loud.... (I'm not kidding!)

The game was awesome, HERE COMES THE PLAYOFFS!!!!!! Just think.....its not that far off until 8/30 when the Utes go take care of business in Ann Arbor!!!!!! I love the fact that Arena Football is here to fill what was usually a long, long gap in football from Feb. to Aug. Plus you always get to see some old Ute player that didn't quite make it in the NFL!!!!

Thanks again for a great night Chris!!!

Fat Guy on a Little Bike

Last night i decided to go on a little mountain bike ride on the shoreline trail above Kaysville. I forgot how difficult it is to pedal up a mountain when your out of shape....well I mean a shape that is not round. To have an excuse to stop and rest I took a couple of photos with my cell phone! Enjoy

This is the Bridge Before Adams Canyon.
An awesome view once you bike up to the shoreline trail
Yes this is part of the trail. Couldn't Ride up it.....coming down was a lot of fun

This is where the Shoreline Trail Crosses the Adam's Canyon waterfall trail. Since it was "my" canyon and I could not breath, I decided this was a great place to turn around and go home!

You have to love the Family Guy!

It's ALIVE.....for now......

last Thursday my poor Xbox 360 died.....again. You know its dead because it flashes 3 angry red lights at you like this. I wish this was a site I have never seen before, unfortunately this is the third time my 360 has decided to die. Lucky for my pocket book my 360 does not have a DNR. I decieded to rush my 360 into surgery under my care and supervision. Below is what the inside of my Xbox looks like!!!!

After the surgery was complete the friendly green lights showed up again and I was able to continue playing NCAA Football and Rainbow Six Vegas! Total cost to fix the Xbox THIS time was $6.52. That's a lot better than a $350.00 new one! Below are happy working photos of my happy Xbox 360!

It also might be worth noting that our water heater died and my Father and I actually were able to pull the old one out and put a new one in.....I was really grateful he was there to help since Home Depot and Lowes both wanted over $200.00 to install one...... Now that does not mean my house is not going to blow up in the few days.....but hey I was able to save some money thanks to my Father's help!!! -Adam

Golfing Pains and Choo Choo Trains

We spent the last weekend in St. George. After I was finished crashing on my mountain bike, my father decided that we needed to go play some golf! On Friday it was a regular painful experience for me as my brother and father just giggled and laughed at my so called attempts to hit a little ball down a huge area of land....(BTW who in their sane little mind thought that hitting a little ball with a huge club would be fun...Idiot. I hate this person).

Saturday morning the birds were chirping and the hurricane force winds started blowing and the Gines' thought, "HEY lets go golfing again." So here gos another game of golf vs my laughing brother and father. After I hit a couple of houses with my ball, I settled down and ended up beating these two jokers at this horribly contrived game of golf!!! SWEET VICTORY IS MINE!!!!! For some apparent reason they want to play again on Saturday and I just don't think I can play against such amateurs.....

Yesterday (Wednesday) I decided to ride the new Frontrunner train to work. WHAT A JOKE. For some crazy reason, just about everyone in the state of Utah thinks its FUN to go sit on this train with 4 bagillion people and just ride it back and forth from Ogden to Salt Lake......When my train to take me home pulled up in Salt lake you would have thought that everyone would have said, "OK kiddos we are here lets get off the train." Boy was i wrong....little did i know, that it was a special day out with the family and no one will be getting off the train in Salt Lake, so I had to cram myself into a 200 passenger compartment with 700 other people (See Photos Below). Hopefully when people actually have to pay for this service we won't get the families with 23 kids, Grandma and Grandpa sitting on the train playing cards and riding back and forth because they think they are having FUN. Honestly, I did not come home and get the wife and say "Honey...Night out on the town...grab the portable DVD player....We will get some Wendy's on the way because we are GONNA RIDE THE TRAIN...WHOOO WHOOO....... If I have offended you....GOOD you WERE part of the problem =)

While I am at it...why can't I just import a Photo where my cursor is when i blog??? why does this thing have to put the photo on the side or UP at the top of the page even though my cursor is at the bottom???? LAME SAUCE...
